{wonderful wedding weekend}

some of you may remember last fall I was debating between several save the date designs for a special couple, chase + colleen. they are childhood friends of my boyfriend, riley and have become wonderful friends to me. the small world of the south seems to always trickle into my life in some way. it seems in the southern us - everyone knows everyone! which can be good and bad. everyone knows everyone whether it be through camp, boarding school, college, post-college or being aquainted with someone's cousin, college roommate, etc....you name it.

it seems that in the south, where ever you go friends of friends follow. that being said, when I started dating my bf he came up in convo one day while I was talking to my cousin beth. I said his name and she said, wait? you mean riley from charleston? I said yes, she said no way! I know him, he grew up with colleen in charleston. it turns out beth and colleen became best friends at vanderbilt and are literally like sisters still to this day! they were both eachother's maid of honor - beth was married in october - her wedding I posted pics then (I was wearing the orange|yellow bow dress) and some my invitation designs for her wedding.

this past weekend colleen + chase were married here in charleston. it was a HOT southern weekend. sooo fun! thought I would share some pics from the weekend!

the save the date I designed! it coordinated soo well with the bridesmaids dresses + groomsmen ties! (riley was a groomsmen) I also designed their programs, will try post them later!
